What does an MOT test include?

An MOT test checks vital components of your vehicle, including brakes, tyres, lights, exhaust, and more, to ensure it meets legal safety standards. It is required annually for vehicles over three years old.

We offer MOT tests for Class 4 (cars and small vans), Class 5 (mini buses), and Class 7 (larger vans and commercial vehicles). Contact us if you need to confirm which class your vehicle falls under.

An MOT test typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. However, we recommend setting aside a bit more time in case any repairs are needed to pass the test.

Yes, you can easily book your MOT test online. Select your preferred date and time, and we’ll handle the rest. You can also combine it with a service or tyre fitting.

If your vehicle doesn’t pass, we’ll provide a detailed report and offer a quote for any necessary repairs. Once the repairs are completed, we can retest your vehicle.

You can have your MOT test done up to one month (minus a day) before your current MOT expires. The new MOT will still run from the expiry date of your previous one.
